The stage is connected to the Control Room using a combination of fiber optic and coaxial BNC cables, supplemented by various video converters. This setup enables seamless conversion of all signal types, including HDMI, DVI, and SDI, with support for 4K video signals as well.Furthermore, custom junction boxes are strategically placed on the stage, offering interfaces for SDI and Fiber LC-LC connections.
A Video monitor Toshiba LCD 32 32AV733DG is located in the middle of the 1st balcony viewing the stage. Usable as a countdown timer for presentations.
A countdown software is used that can be controlled from the SM desk.
The surtitles system includes three (3) LED ABSEN Polaris PL V2 P3.9 screens, offering high-definition clarity for audiences. Two smaller screens, each measuring 2x0.5 meters, are positioned on the proscenium, strategically placed for optimal viewing from the front seats. The larger screen, measuring 4x0.5 meters, hangs above and can be repositioned within the stage area to ensure maximum visibility for viewers across the venue. All screens are equipped with a pixel pitch of 3.9mm, ensuring crisp, clear text even from a distance.
Additionally, the system is integrated with an Apple MacBook Pro running Glypheo surtitling software, though it is compatible with other computers and programs, offering flexibility for different technical setups.
The system is capable of displaying up to four lines of text, making it suitable for showing content in two different languages simultaneously, ensuring accessibility for a diverse audience. Furthermore, the brightness of the screens can be easily adjusted to meet the specific lighting conditions of the performance, ensuring optimal readability at all times.

Outside and in front of the main stage, in the stalls of the theatre, there are five more automation units, flybars, for the needs of hanging technical equipment outside the stage.
Specifically, in order from the front and outward:
Three smaller bars (cross-section 0.48cm) for SOUND EQUIPMENT, one meter long, with SWL 375kg per motor. All three bars are at 0.78m in front of the stage floor.
Truss with counterweights and wires for hanging LIGHT EQUIPMENT, maximum (truss) length 10.60m, SWL 500Kg. It is located at 2.42m from the stage floor.
All the above motors are operated also by TNM controllers (consoles) of the main stage of the theater.
Trekwerk’s TNM controllers allow for both manual and automated control of flybars. During rigging, flybars can be operated manually, while the controllers also enable programming and storing of complex, multi-axis movements. These movements can involve different bars moving in varied directions and speeds, with no restrictions on repetition, and are saved as cues within the control software. This enables precise and safe reproduction of movements during each performance.
The system includes two TNM consoles: the TNMC-104, positioned on the stage left (SL) side, and a backup TNMC-105, usually located on gallery +3 SL, which can be moved as needed. Each console can program an unlimited number of flying cues per cue list, create multiple cue lists within the same show file, and incorporate up to ninety-nine consecutive motions under a single cue. The maximum flybar speed is 1.8 meters per second.
Additionally, simple positioning markers and limit markers can be set for accuracy. Emergency stops are located around the stage and on the consoles; activating these will immediately stop all system mechanisms in case of an emergency.
Also on the main stage of the theatre, there are four automated electrically operated lifts units: • Two rectangular parallelogram STAGE LIFT platfoms, that located in the center of the stage floor, total measuring 7.64m x 656m with travel distance of 3m and SWL 2500kg dynamic / 28T static each:

Two half circular platforms ORCHESTRA PIT (1, 2) located at the auditorium of the theater directly in front of the proscenium (apron), with dimensions:
With -3.50m / (+0.70m) travel distance and SWL:
| Orchestra Pit 1 | Orchestra Pit 2 |

| Dynamic: 2500kg | Dynamic: 2500kg |
| Static: 25.5T | Static: 19.5T static |
The allowing load for the lifts in the auditorium of the theatre is 750kg / m (static). The theatre lifts are all operated with spiralifts (HD9) technology. The move of the Orchestra Pits is handled by permanent extra controller SR of the stage, while at the Stage Lifts due automation console of the main stage (TNM).
Above the level of the main stage, on Grid (20m), there are eight electrical motor CM Lodestar SWL IT each, on A bases, which are used as chain hoist for either moving or fixed lifting points and can be moved across the Grid surface, with their matching bases. The movement operation can be done from the stage level with the equivalent controller that indicated only the direction choice. The movement speed is 4m/min, and the chain can reach the floor of the stage.
Steel wire (diam. 6, 8, 10mm): 1m - 10m length • Shackles SWL 1T - 6.50T • Clamps & Hooks Doughty SWL 75kg - 750kg Spanset (Round Slings) 1m - 6m length • Tractel Tralift chain hoist 2T - IT - 0.5T All the using lifting equipment is verified by the authorized organizations and be checked base on specifications
In the Upper Stage there are seven (#1-7) electrically operated, automated Lineshaft type flybars, SWL 300kg, with a final height of 5m above the stage level. They consist of a single bar, pipe, diameter, with cross section 4,8cm and are held together by four 6mm diameter asystropfic wire ropes, with their reels system and the winch of each mechanism, located on the roof of the stage. The lengths of flybars are:
| Flybar | Length |
|---|---|
| Flybar #1 | 10.12m |
| Flybar #2 | 9.75m |
| Flybar #3 | 9.10m |
| Flybar #4 | 8.40m |
| Flybar #5 | 7.88m |
| Flybar #6 | 7.80mm |
| Flybar #7 | 7.80mm |
CONTROLLER: The console of the small stage is made by Trekwerk, with the option of moving one or more flybars in the same or different directions at the same time, storage of up to 10 positions (marks) and manual speed selection via joystick. On top of the console is the Emergency stop button, where pressing it stops any operation.

At the Onassis Stegi Theatres, the electrical supply is managed through two distinct systems: a three-phase system (400V/50Hz) and a single-phase system (230V/50Hz). The three-phase system powers lighting, motors, and flybars, while the single-phase system supplies equipment related to image and sound. This separation is implemented to prevent interference with sensitive loads caused by harmonic distortion. Critical loads that require automatic restarting after a power failure, such as consoles and computers, are supported by UPS systems. If external productions require these features, please inform us in advance and inquire about availability.
508 dimming channels: 2.5kW
128 no dimming channels: 2.5kW
18 no dimming channels: 5kW
21 dimming channels: 5kW
In the technical report above, the most important information you need to know about the electrical part of the theatres was noted. All work is carried out by licensed electrical installers and electrical engineers belonging to the technical staff of the theatre, in accordance with international regulations and standards.
